COMMUNITY GUIDELINES: This is a community page designed for neighbors to come together. We welcome friendly and open conversation, however we reserve the right to remove posts which are inappropriate, offensive or are promoting business interests. We encourage residents to share their input and feedback on community issues, but please be aware that often the most effective course of action is to contact the City of Calgary directly at 311. The comments we receive here on Facebook and in-person at our monthly meetings will help guide us in sharing what’s important to the residents of Evanston-Creekside. ECCA board members are volunteers and may not be able to respond immediately to all inquiries. We keep a close eye on our page and will do our best to answer to the best of our knowledge.

Back to school time is here already, and while the weather feels like summer, we need to prepare for school buses, increased traffic and kids walking to the bus stop.

Please be courteous to your neighbors and be aware of your surroundings. Don't block driveways, don't park within 5 meters of an intersection, don't Jay-walk, don't park where buses are to park, and please don't make U-turns around schools or bus stops. Don't double park to pick up or drop off. Watch your speed and slow down at crosswalks and corners, double check when backing up out of your driveway. Playground zones are 7:30AM - 9:00PM.

Sincerely,

Mike Stiles

Found: stuffed Llama

I was cleaning up garbage leftover from the movie in the park and found this guy sitting on the sprinkler control box (on Evansdale Common).

If your little one is missing a stuffed Llama go get it asap =)

Thank you everyone for coming out to the Movie in the Park last night. I figure we had about 150 people there.

Thank you to Fresh Air Cinema for the night of fun family entertainment.

Hope everyone enjoyed their night.

Found left on ground after movie in park.

Green bike. Glad the movie truck didn't run it over.

It's leaning against the garbage cans.

Diadora Corso I think is what the brand said
