Annual General Meeting

Evanston, Creekside Community Association invites you to join us in our Annual General Meeting.

Though the location is to be decided, we are currently looking for directors at large. Are you interested in making a change in your community? Want to know what is happening in the upcoming year? We’d LOVE for you to come join us.

Any and all are welcome.

In addition, The Evanston Creekside Community Association will be making a Special Resolution at the AGM in relations to the below clauses in the ECCA Bylaws:

To replace clause 5.04 with the following updated clause

5.04 The membership year shall automatically terminate one year from the date of purchase. Memberships are non-transferrable and non-refundable.

To replace clause 7.01 with the following clause

7.01 The affairs of the Association shall be managed by a Board of not less than six (6) Directors, each of whom at the time of his/her election and throughout his/her term of office shall be a Member of the Association. The maximum number of Directors shall be twenty-four (24). Each Director shall be elected to hold office for a period of two (2) years, or until his/her successor shall have been duly elected or appointed. Directors shall be elected at each Annual General Meeting as follows:

(i) in “Odd Numbered Years” the Vice President, Treasurer, and up to 10 Directors.

(ii) in “Even Numbered Years” the President, Secretary, and up to 10 Directors.

The election shall be by show of hands unless any Member demands a ballot. Any Director or Officer, upon a Majority Vote of all Members in good standing, may be removed from office for any cause that the Association may deem reasonable.
