Evanston is home to over 17,000 residents, 1,500+ students, and has the second highest number of pre-school aged children in any community in the city. To serve these families, there are two schools that were forced to use enrollment lotteries the second year they were open.
The proposed public middle school currently sits at #4 on the Calgary Board of Education’s wish list. It just needs funding!
The ECCA’s Middle School Committee (EMSC) asks that Evanston residents make their voices heard! When candidates for the upcoming provincial election come asking for your vote, ask them what they will do to ensure this school & our community gets the infrastructure it deserves!
